HOUSTON, TX (December 7, 2006) – Commonwealth Engineering and Construction, LLC of Houston announced the completion of its assignment to revamp Delek Refining Ltd’s Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel unit at their Tyler, Texas refinery.  The project expanded production of this environmentally sound transportation fuel from 12,000 barrels per day to 22,000 barrels per day.  The diesel fuel is for both on-road and off-road use, and has sulfur levels less than 15 parts per million.

Commonwealth performed both front-end design, and directly performed engineering, procurement and construction management for the revamp.  The project was successfully performed under an extremely compressed schedule with the plant producing spec product at capacity within three days of the commencement of unit startup.
