Commonwealth Lands Clean Fuels Contract

HOUSTON, TX (December 19, 2006) – Commonwealth Engineering and Construction of Houston has been awarded a contract by Calumet Shreveport Lubricants & Waxes, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. (Nasdaq: CLMT) to provide engineering, procurement and field project management services for a clean diesel fuels project at its Shreveport , Louisiana site. This project includes the construction of a new 14,000-barrel-per-day ultra low sulfur diesel (ULSD) hydrotreater, a 20,000-barrel-per-day crude unit and the revamp of an existing vacuum unit. Construction is slated to begin early in 2007.
